A tale of two candidates

It’s a stark contrast in the 27th Assembly Primary

There has not been a more aggressive Republican primary cycle in recent Wisconsin state race history that has garnered this type of “attention” from crony Robin Vos. Ever stop and wonder why?

Ever stop and wonder why he’s dispatched politicians to get out and stump for his new hand maids like the one in the 27th Assembly District - Brian Hilbelink? Brian Hilbelink and Devin Lemahiue may as well hold hands in public. It’s funny, yet difficult to watch.

Yesterday in the Kiel Chamber of Commerce parade, Lindee Brill and her campaign paid for and showed up to represent her candidacy in their own registered spot in the walking structure, and guess what - Brian Hilbelink showed up to walk right alongside his deer in the headlights shield, Devin Lemahiue. The same Devin Lemahiue who doesn’t even have class enough to return a handshake to Brian’s opponent, Lindee Brill when she’s standing right in front of him with her hand stretched out to say hi.

“Leadership.”

My point here is that subtleties go a long way to show what type of character a wannabe politician has as opposed to a person who has zero desire to be a politician.

Lindee has raised shy of $20,000 combined between personal money invested, in kind and raised actual money donations for her campaign from REAL people - as in non political organizations or politicians. As a matter of fact, the only endorsement from a politician came from Janel Brandtjen - another patriot who is being falsely attacked in her race against Dan Canoodle. Yes I did that purposely.

Brian Hilbelink has accepted money for a total of somewhere north of $31,000 in total, (see below) with the majority from RACC (led by the “for lack of a better phrase” evil Robin Vos) - along with direct contributions from Vos himself, other political “leaders” and politicians and has allowed RPW led dark money funds, that he very obediently, yet dishonestly avows he has nothing to do with or knows anything about - which is a complete fabrication of the truth - which for lack of a better phrase means he’s not exactly “telling you the truth.”

Brian Hilbelink chose to walk alongside of Lemahiue (for name recognition sake I’m assuming?), inside of the Calumet County Republican Party in the parade.

It’s a subtlety. But it’s important to point out.

Lindee Brill paid for her parade spot. Brian, under the small and weak wing of Lemahiue, walked for free inside of an already paid for spot by the Calumet party. A county in which Brian Hilbelink has all of - well zero - constituents. Ok - maybe 25. Why not use some of Devin or Vos’ money and buy your own parade spot? It’s laughable.

The point is - Lindee Brill, who has never received so much as a phone call from the RPW, paid to walk in the parade. Brian who has had the full arm of the established party since they convinced him to run, leeched off of an already paid for section of the parade.

Brian has refused to return my phone calls and repeated requests for him to denounce the libelous and easily provable false allegation that Lindee Brill somehow wants to take away a veteran’s right to vote absentee.

First of all, the folks running these dark money groups with unlimited money, are either stupid or they know that 1-3% of the voting block (most likely the case) are stupid and will believe that lie.

Second, veterans and absentee voters are federally protected and a state rep can’t take that right away from anyone - LET ALONE VETERANS. ( insert eye roll) - but again, these politicians think you’re stupid. And unfortunately, the majority of people who are seeing these propaganda lies don’t do their own research. Do your own research!

Again - I will direct your attention to the fact that even though it was dark money who put out fliers on behalf of Brian and conveniently attacked Lindee at the same time - poor little Brian Lemahiue, I mean Hilbelink, had “no clue” what was going on.

Folks, you’re seeing what type of governance Brian will display if elected right now and it’s being taught to him by people who have “been there and done that” in such a vanilla way to you now for YEARS.

If Brian had the ability to walk himself out of a wet paper bag while swinging a hatchet, this was that situation. He failed miserably. He could have easily stepped up and said what this outside group has said about Lindee - someone he’s known for a large number of years and as he says “went to church with” - was simply untrue and wrong and that he denounces it.

But nope, here we sit approximately ten days later and you have now witnessed for yourselves first hand the type of opportunist personality Brian actually has, through his unwillingness to address clear dirty politics pledged out on his behalf. He is proving to be selfish, that he is only concerned with political gain and that he is controlled. Not sure which is worse.

Subtleties…

Candidates have a choice when they run. Show their true colors - or “show” their true colors. Brian has shown his because he has attempted to hide them. It shows in the daily actions he has taken - or not taken. It shows by who he has taken money from, or what’s actually worse - WHO has offered and given money to him.

Brian couldn’t give a straight answer on something as easy as whether he was against red flag laws, yet he claims to be pro second amendment. Folks, that in and of itself is DANGEROUS. Those were his ACTUAL words (from the same debate that Lindee has been lied about, slandered for and misrepresented when she said Election Day should be a holiday and we should be motivated to vote on Election Day.)

In the 27th district assembly primary, Lindee Brill has shown her true colors. And you should show yours by voting for her on August 13th. Go tell your friends. Go tell your family. Show up with all of them to vote for Lindee on Tuesday the 13th.

The old adage “you get what you pay for” stands the test of time.

You’ve got an impressively clear choice in this primary and I pray to God you choose correctly.

In today’s world, you can’t even access the ability to change your own oil on your car anymore. You have to rely on a dealership and their schedule, to do the majority of your maintenance for you. Maybe you think that’s a funny analogy, but it holds.

We need to get away from the “begging” of politicians as constituents and start putting folks in those seats who will lead with character and remove the need for you to beg. We need to put people in there who will recognize that it’s you that matters to their schedule, not that they matter to yours.

Reject what politicians (the dealership) have paid for with Brian.

Choose Lindee Brill. You’ll have access. She wants you to have that access. You’ll run your own representation. She knows it will be a hard road. She will to do it for you.
